It is of Indian origin and covers the story of a father and daughter, as they add a new layer of understanding and appreciation of each other over a simple cup of tea. Plot of Fomo

The story of FOMO begins in a middle-class drawing room, where the father is seen watching television. His wife has to go out for some work and leaves tea for him and their daughter to drink. The daughter comes in and is stressed from work and she takes a break while drinking tea. It is revealed she works in the film industry.

The dad and daughter start chatting and as they chat they discuss how the girl’s work is going. Then they discuss the concept of FOMO, and how they have had to face FOMO in their lives. The daughter thinks that there was no FOMO for the previous generation, however, her father reminds her of the important and precious moments of her life that he had missed because of work and providing them with a good life.

The conversation then pivots to the girl’s relationship status. The father guesses correctly that his daughter is facing relationship problems and gives her, his support, in case, she decides to break up with her current partner. As the father has gone through various phases of life, he understands his daughter and reassures her that she has nothing to worry about. He concludes the conversation by saying that he is proud of the woman she has become. They both end the conversation after which the mother comes back and they both appreciate the tea, but more importantly, appreciate and cherish the conversation they had.
